Serbian Embassy took part successfully in football Embassy League

Embassy of Serbia among others more than 30 Embassies in Cairo, took part in football Embassy League organized by Ministry of Sport, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Tourism. After playing very successfully in the group with Greece and Vietnam, Serbian team qualified in second round. In very dramatic game, Serbian team lost against Russia. But Serbian fans, composed from Embassy staff, their families, Serbs living in Cairo and embassy friends was selected as best fun group.

On the final ceremony, Serbian Ambassador Dragan Bisenic on behalf of Serbian Football Association delivered to the HE Minister of sport El Amry Farouk El Amry symbols of Serbian national football team.

Participation of Serbian Embassy in this manifestation was supported by President of Serbian Football Association Mr. Tomislav Karadzic. Vice president Mr. Ivan Curkovic, Mr Nebojsa Covic and Goran Brocic - FC Red Star Belgrade and Mr. Ivan Beljic – DHL company, Belgrade.
